Community Highlights: Meet Zoe Gazola of The Indigo Clinic
Today we’d like to introduce you to Zoe Gazola.
Hi Zoe, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started in aesthetics 16 years ago when I used to be a Medical Assistant at a plastic surgeon’s office in Arizona. At the time, I was barely starting my nursing school journey and some of the aesthetic products, such as hyaluronic acid fillers, were just starting to break into the market. I never envisioned it turning into anything because at the time, I was really focused on getting into the ICU and my job was just another stepping stone in my career.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I wish I could say that it has been a smooth road for me. My whole life I’ve had to work full time and go to school full time in order to fulfill my dreams. I spent many years working seven days a week and going to school seven days a week. My family did not have the financial means to help me through school, so it was always a heavy weight on my shoulders every semester to try and make as much money as I could to pay the next semester. Nursing school was very competitive and we had very stringent rules with grades, so on top of working full time, I also had to ensure I maintained a high GPA so that I could graduate and also move on to the next degree. I sacrificed a lot in my life in order for me to get here today. I missed a lot of birthdays, births, weddings, vacations, and family events simply because I was either working or had school.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
Have a clear vision of what you want you to be and stick to that goal. It is so important to know what you want to do with your business and stick to that plan. You can’t distract yourself by what other people are doing. I knew I wanted everyone to feel welcomed in my practice and know that everything I offer is safe. I personalize and provide procedures and products for everyone, no matter your skin color.
